It is very difficult to draft out a perfect strategy for this game as your winning is subject to the combination of all seven cards dealt during the game. You can use a computer to calculate the possibility of a correct play but it’s nearly impossible to make a set of plans like those in Blackjack. Playing tight with a lot of hands fold more than 18% does not help you win this game as it does in Texas Hold’em Poker! You should refer to these rules as follows:
- Raise your bet all the time you have a pair with an Ace high or at least a King high.
- Raise your bet when you have a flush draw or straight draw (open-ended or gutshot).
- Raise your bet when you have two overcards (i.e.your two cards are higher than the 3 visible on the board).
- Raise your bet when you have a Queen or Jack high except in the case where the board has a single suit that does not match your cards.
- Unless your cards and the board make a straight or flush draw, when you only have at least 10 high, you should fold against a paired board (eg 559).
- Unpaired low cards like 73 cannot give you a chance of a straight or flush draw, so fold your cards right away.
